We are committed to growing and investing in the Healthcare arena. We have accumulated considerable knowledge working on a variety of health initiatives. 

SwiftRadius has experience in architecting solutions that share information between Health Information Systems through the use of the iEHR infostructure (Client Registry, Provider Registry, Location Registry, OID Registry, HIAL, Share Health Record, portals and viewers) including integration to external points of service. We also have significant experience in working with funding partners such as CHI and CPAC.   SwiftRadius has led Canada Health Infoway projects such as Drug Information System and Panorama. SwiftRadius has also led CPAC funded projects including New Brunswick National Staging Initiative – Synoptic Reporting (which defines the standard for pathology reporting and gathers the results via the iEHR infrastructure), Prince Edward Island Cancer Registry (Cancer Staging Initiative which involves new business processes and electronic solutions that will make the capture and reporting of staging data more efficient), and Cancer Care Nova Scotia Cancer Registry Information System Replacement (A Cancer Staging Initiative which provided a comprehensive Cancer Registry Solution and Implementation).

SwiftRadius has also developed a road map for Public Health Surveillance that leads to a system that is fully integrated with the iEHR.  During this process SwiftRadius helped define the business priorities, document the business processes, architect a solution, and estimate the cost and effort associated with the proposed road map.  Through working on these various projects, SwiftRadius has gained experience with health industry standards (HL7, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD 10),  privacy legislation and related security measures, and change management.
